Our lifters allow to grasp and handle steel or aluminium slab and ingots that can reach a weight of 150 T.

Their grip is made with jaws clamping the sides of cold and warm items. In that case, the jaws have specific shapes and are made of refractory steels matching with temperatures that could reach 1200°C.

The coil lifters, made of scissors articulated with step-up strain, can be composed of one or several clamping units in relation with the length and weight of the carried goods.

The scissors locking in open position is ensured by 3 types of locking mechanisms :

-         The mechanical lock with automatic ¼ turn

-         The central lifting winch

-         The travelling crane auxiliary lifting.

The coil lifters are hanging from one or two lifting points of the travelling crane.

A revolving head can be proposed for the orientation of goods during production and storage operations.

All our coil lifters are calculated according to the finite element method. They are drawn up according to the Handling European Federation Rules, and respect the French and foreign standards in relation with the using country
